When a business plan fails, what group within that business is at fault? Is it Marketing / Product Development, Sales, or Client Services? Obviously poor performance in any one of these can bankrupt a company. A good business plan requires successful execution of all three.
When a club’s membership plan fails, what group within that club is at fault? Is it Marketing, Sales, or Client Services? Just as in a business, poor performance in any one of these can undermine success. In translating from business terms to Rotary terms, please consider the following:
- Membership Marketing in our world is called ATTRACTION.
- When our Members acquire a new Member, we call it ACQUISITION.
- And when our Members work to support and keep Members, we call it RETENTION.
Your District Membership Committee has arranged an easy way for each Club to have its own Attraction Plans, Acquisition Plan, and Retention Plans. You are welcome to create your own plans or choose from a list provided by the Committee.
